One Art Nation Returns to Art New York, May 5-7

For the third consecutive year, One Art Nation is proud to present the 1AN Art Symposium, in partnership with Art New York and CONTEXT New York, May 5-7. The 1AN Art Symposium presents a diverse range of informative cultural and industry-focused talks and panel discussions tackling topics of interest to art buyers, art professionals and art-lovers alike, including:

Buying & Selling at Auction on May 24

Curious about how auctions work? Join Waddington’s specialists, Linda Rodeck, VP, and Stephen Ranger, VP of Business Development and Senior Specialist, who will explain that if you know how to go about it, purchasing and selling art at auction can be accessible, affordable, personal and fun. The talk will conclude with a tour of the Spring Sale Preview.

ROCKERS RAWK, featuring works by Bob Gruen and Jason Newsted at Art New York on May 6

Gary Lichtenstein Editions presents a series of beautiful limited edition silkscreen prints entitled “ROCKERS” featuring some of Bob Gruen’s most iconic images and the debut of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Jason Newsted’s first major international exhibition of his contemporary art entitled “RAWK”. Fifty percent of proceeds from the exhibit will generously be donated to the Perry J. Cohen Foundation. Both artists will be on-hand during the 1AN Symposium on May 6th at 4pm: ROCKERS RAWK – When Art Meets Rock n’ Roll.
